Unlike most blenders that just spin the contents around in the pitcher, the WaveStation blends your favorite drink from top to bottom for the perfect mixture, sans chunks. The hands-free dispenser on the base lets you serve by just holding your glass to it, but the 56-oz., double-insulated pitcher also has a spout so you can still pour the old-fashioned way. This blender, by far, is the best one you could possibly buy. We've had two, since we lost the gasket to the first one, and neither ever gave us any problems. It blends everything so well and has MANY MANY different settings. My favorite is the ice crusher setting. There are "waves" in the plastic jar which filters the beverage & ice down towards the blades. Definetly a great bargain! We LOVE this blender. (Although it is very very loud since it is pretty powerful.)

I love this blender. I haven't had any problems with it, and it says rght there in the instruction book that you must keep it running to dispense thick beverages. Maybe no one but me read the instructions? Anyway, I would recommend buying this blender.

Blender with horrible warranty

I loved this blender in the beginning. At first the only thing wrong was that I had to keep it running in order for it to dispense any beverage (no biggie). After 6 months it just stopped running.
I hadn't used it all that often, but I did use it a couple times a week.
Well, I had bought a can opener from them that didn't work properly from the beginning, and had no problems replacing it through the company at no expense to me. I thought this would be easy - WRONG!
Basically what happened was that the motor burned out, and I contacted the company. They informed me that it WAS under warranty, and all I had to do was cut off the cord, mail it in, and pay around $10 to have a new one shipped out.
The product was defective, yet I was going to have to pay around another $15 in the end to hopefully get one that worked right.
If you purchase one, beware of the awful warranty. Make certain to purchase one where you can return it without hassles.

Good blender, not so good dispenser

This is a decent blender. I've used it to make hummus and cookie batter. It blends really well, but if you make thick drinks, the dispenser doesn't work well. It's kind of aggrivating. The dispenser is also difficult to clean without a wire brush.

The most amazing blender on the planet! It is so powerful. It makes the smoothest "Icee" drinks ever! I love the push dispenser..no more messy pouring. Great for kids too!

This has to be the best blender I have ever purchased. I read all the reviews and saw the negative ones that were posted. I thought what the heck. Just take a chance and it has surpassed my expectations. This blender crushed all the ice which was great because I have already made a smoothie, milk shake and a alchohalic beverage. The all were blended so wonderful. I am in love with this blender. Ignore all negative reviews. It is clear that these people did not read the instructions.

I've never had a blender with a spout. I was scared it was going to be leak and be a messy clean-up, but I was wrong! This thing works great for smoothies! I love the dispensing button...the blender spins slowly as the drink comes out at a nice speed from the spout! Then I just blend some soapy water and run it through the spout to clean! Great blender!

This blender is wonderful. It blends everything wonderfully. The dispenser is great for thinner drinks, but does not work the best for thicker smoothies. This is an excellent buy, and reasonably priced.

This is the best blender that I have ever owned, and I owned several.
It crushed ice like a dream, mixes all types of drinks, and dispenses fine.
All you have to do is read the directions. And all is well. In the directions it tells you what to do with thick drinks for despensing, and it works fine,,,just turn it on.
I don't know what happened with the other folks with leak problems,,,never had a problem with mine. Maybe it was a manufacureing problem, which can happen from time to time. They should try exchangeing the machine.
I know of other people that have this machine and love it.
It is well worth the money.

My husband purchased this for me when my Smoothie Elite went on the blink and I could not find a web site for getting parts. I really like it and it does a great job with making smoothies. It crushes the ice and blends wonderfully. One of the other reviews said that it doesn't dispense the smoothies. It does you have to push the dispense button for it to dispense. Haven't tried it for anything else but if it can make a smoothie it can chop or blend anything else I would assume. Mine does have a separate container that insulates so that is good for makine smoothies since my old one if you didn't dispense it all and drink then it got warm quickly. I don't take it all apart to clean I just put soapy water in it, turn it on high and then dispense the soapy water then the clean the same way. Only reason I gave this a 4 is due to the LO button not working. I don't think I will return it due to this since I probably won't ever use low.
